How do you like Kuala Lumpur nightlife?

Although Kuala Lumpur is vibrant and full of exciting adventures, it tends to subside after 10 p.m. Shopping malls are close by and most cafes aren’t open until 12 noon, so where to go if you’re still upstairs and want to explore more?

We’ve done this work for you, read on, and researched where you can pop until late.

Walk through Jalan Alori

If you feel like a drink, contact Jalan Alor to eat.

This colorful place is always bustling with people and food vendors will tempt you with aromatic foods from all directions. There are also many massage parlors or foot reflexology centers that you can bypass if your feet start to ache from all walks.

Petaling Street is known for its bargains and cheap drop-outs.

From clothes and suitcases to trinkets and souvenirs, you are sure to find something you like. The area runs until late in the evening, so if you’re in the mood to go shopping after 10pm, consider skipping.

Party at TREC

For those who want to party, TREC has a great selection of bars and pubs, which are well suited for late hours for those who want to socialize and have a good time. Depending on the mood you are looking for, you can look around the area for the right bars.

Roof bars

Rooftop bars are becoming a hot spot for locals as there are many people to mingle with while enjoying the breathtaking views of Kuala Lumpur at night. Some bars have a swimming pool, so if you also want to go diving, check out the bars or even talk to a local.

See the night markets

Malaysians love their night markets! You can buy almost anything from the night market. While some run until 9 p.m., you can still find ones that run until late at night. However, you may need to check which days certain night markets are open.
